THE LABOUR Battle Bus came to Horsforth to support Jamie Hanley’s campaign to be the next MP for the area.
A team of more than 40 activists, including Leeds West MP, Rachel Reeves and Labour’s deputy election chief Jon Ashworth came to the Pudsey Constituency.
Mr Hanley said: “I’m so proud to have so many activists out with us knocking on doors – we have managed to speak with over 3000 local residents this week. Every day, dozens of people who are desperate for a better future give their free time to come and join me in talking to local residents who are determined to get rid of David Cameron’s Tory-led Government.”
Mr Ashworth said: “On the doorstep it is clear local people are switching to Jamie.”
