POLICE investigating a three-vehicle crash at North Rigton are appealing for the ‘Good Samaritan’ who stopped to come forward.

The accident happened at about 4pm on Friday, March 13 at the junction of Dunkeswick Lane and Hall Green Lane on the A658, when a blue BMW 1 series was in collision with an Audi TT and a Mercedes.

The driver of the Mercedes, a woman in her 50s, suffered serious head and back injuries but received first aid from a woman who stopped.

Officers are appealing to her to get in touch with them as quickly as possible to help their investigation.

She is asked to contact North Yorkshire Police by calling 101, selecting option two, and asking for Traffic Constable Steve James – or by sending an e-mail to Steve.James117@northyorkshire.pnn.police.uk.

The Mercedes driver was taken to hospital and later discharged. The Audi TT driver, a man in his 50s from Harrogate, suffered slight injuries.
