Spectacles wanted
OLD or unwanted spectacles are being collected by Otley Lions. The club is asking anyone with surplus pairs of glasses to support a global recycling scheme by dropping them off at its bookshop on Mercury Row.
The donated spectacles will be sent to Medico France in Le Havre, to be cleaned and graded before being transported to eye camps in Africa, Asia and Eastern Europe.
