BURLEY and Menston’s MP has accused Labour leader Ed Miliband of double standards for highlighting rising energy bills – when changes made under his watch, force households to pay extra for green-energy initiatives.
Shipley Constituency MP Philip Davies said households are paying an average of £45 a year to support low carbon power.
The Tory has repeatedly said he wants households to be given and have access to the cheapest energy not the greenest energy.
