KNITTERS in Otley are being sought to help make some tiny Santa hats for Christmas.
Bliss Leeds Champion Helen Jackson is coordinating a push to make hats for premature babies who will be in local hospitals on December 25.
She is working with the Knit and Natter group, led by Jen Birch, on the project – with Otley shop Wharfedale Embroidery donating the required red and white wool.
Otley mum Helen said: “We are hoping to provide every baby who will be on the neonatal units in Leeds and Airedale with a Santa hat for Christmas Day.
“If anyone wishes to help, the knitting patterns are available from Knit and Natter, at Woolpack Studios, and from Wharfedale Embroidery, on Market Place.”
