OTLEY residents only have a few days left to use a Scout and Guide-run Christmas card delivery service.
The fundraising scheme, run by Otley Parish Church Scouts and Guides Parents’ Association, ends at noon on Saturday, December 20.
Using its own 25p stamps and delivery boxes, the Otley-only service is supported by a network of shops and businesses around the town.
The participating outlets include: Lloyds Chemists – Kirkgate; Patels (Weston General Stores) – Weston Drive; Help the Aged – Boroughgate; Londis – Weston Lane; Petwise – Orchard Gate; Dodgshons – Manor Square; Wrenbeck Stores – Wrenbeck Drive; Cottage Stores – Newall Carr Road; Westbourne Convenience Stores – Bradford Road.
The proceeds from the service will go towards the upkeep of the Scouts and Guides HQ on Burra Lane.
