AROUND 100 model model buses worth £1,500 have been stolen from a shed after the owner accidentally left it open overnight.
Thieves struck between 1am and 7am on October 19, in Ackworth Drive, Yeadon. They took the model buses which were wrapped in newspaper.
Inspector Richard Coldwell, from the Outer North West Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: “These are very distinctive items and they are often sold through specialist dealers and collectors. I would like to hear from anyone who has been offered such items for sale since October 19 if they suspect they may be the stolen models.”
Anyone with any information should Contact the Outer North West NPT via 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
