THE Craven Heifer in Addingham has been given the prestigious Certificate of Excellence award on the Trip Advisor website.

Now in its fourth year, the award celebrates hospitality excellence and is given only to establishments that consistently achieve outstanding traveller reviews on TripAdvisor.

Winners of the Certificate of Excellence are located all over the world and represent the upper echelon of businesses listed on the website, with only the top ten percent receiving the prestigious award.

The Certificate of Excellence award is given to outstanding hospitality businesses that have received praise and recognition in reviews by TripAdvisor travellers.

Operations manager Kate Hollings, who has been running the Craven Heifer since 2012, said: “Guest experience and satisfaction is paramount to us and we ensure our staff are trained to the highest standards to offer a warm welcome to all who visit The Craven Heifer.

“Most of the reviews praise not only our food quality and taste, but how consistent it is – which I think is extremely important for diners as they want to know that they will enjoy not only a great meal but friendly service as well.

“It’s so easy for people to complain nowadays and we are proud to hold such a good record. I want to thank the team for all their hard work and we will look to keep this going, taking The Craven Heifer from strength to strength.”
