Otley Courthouse is expecting to be heaving with cycling fans this weekend.

The arts centre will be open from 1pm to 6pm on Saturday, July 5, just after the Tour de France has passed through.

It will laying on everything from music and dance in the Courtyard to big screen TV coverage and refreshments in the cafe to entertain the thousands of spectators who are set to congregate on the town.

Visitors will also have the chance to join a team who will be creating a mosaic for North Parade, and to check out the nearby food, drink and craft stalls along Courthouse Street.

July's movie matinee, meanwhile, is the British-American romantic comedy Austenland, which stars Keri Russell as a single thirty-something, obsessed with Pride and Prejudice, who decides to travel to a Jane Austen theme park in search of her perfect gentleman.

Tickets for the screening, which takes place at 2pm on Thursday, July 10, cost £4 and include tea or coffee and biscuits.

Then on Friday, July 11 at 7.30pm, the dramatic story of a lone racing cyclist riding towards the audience as he reflects on his life's journey, will be presented by Sticks Theatre and Harrogate Theatre.

Life Cycle includes thoughts and feelings gathered from a variety of cyclists, ranging from casual riders to professionals, which have been forged together to create a highly physical, and visual, theatrical experience.

Tickets for the show, which features accompanying live music created from bicycle parts, cost £8 or £6 in advance or £9 or £7 on the door.
