An estate agent is looking for a new apprentice to join its growing Ilkley team following the success of the firm’s last recruit.

Hunters Ilkley, in Crescent Court, says Eloise Dunning, who came from Craven College, has gone from strength to strength and is now working across all aspects of the office.

The company has nominated her for a national award.

Director Lester Hurst said: “Eloise has only been with the team for 18 months and all credit to her. She has come along in leaps and bounds.

“We have been so impressed with her progress and how well she has developed her skills.

“So much so that we have nominated her for the National Apprenticeship Awards 2014, recognising apprentices throughout England who have made a significant contribution to their workplace.

“As she continues to develop her role within the company, an opportunity has arisen for a second apprentice, so we are now looking for young people aged from 16 to 24 who would like a career in the property industry.”

The apprenticeship programme involves working four days a week in an administrative role, supporting the sales and lettings teams within the Ilkley branch.

The fifth day each week is spent studying for an NVQ qualification in Business Administration at Craven College, as part of the Government Apprenticeship Scheme.

The successful candidate will be mentored and will receive training and support from both the Ilkley team and the Hunters Training Academy at its head office in York.

To apply, send a CV along with a covering letter explaining why you should be the next apprentice to: Helen Donald, Apprenticeship Co-ordinator, Craven College, Aireville Campus, Gargrave Road, Skipton, BD23 1US or email hdonald@ craven-college.ac.uk.
