Visitors to Ilkley Town Hall will need to use a free telephone to contact services inside the public building from April 7.
Bradford Council is closing the doors of the town hall on Station Road and introducing an electronic access system.
Few services are now left in the town hall, although it still houses the Registrar’s Office and Ilkley Parish Council’s office.
There will be no changes to opening hours at Ilkley Visitor Information Centre, at the entrance to the hall.
Bradford Council says customer service advice will continue on Tuesday mornings within the reception area. The Registrar’s Office will relocate to the ground floor to improve accessibility to the public and will continue to open for appointments one day per week on a Tuesday.
A free telephone will be placed in the reception area for members of the public to contact services inside the building.
There will be no change to the parish council services or evening meetings held in the hall.
