Channel 4 newsreader Alex Thomson is lending his voice to Yeadon-based national charity Epilepsy Action.
Alex has recorded a three-minute appeal for the charity, which will be broadcast on BBC Radio 4 on Sunday.
It is hoped that the appeal will raise awareness of epilepsy and encourage listeners to donate to the charity to help it continue its vital work.
The appeal will be broadcast on BBC Radio 4 at 7.55am and 9.26pm on Sunday, March 2 and then again on Thursday, March 6 at 3.27pm. It will also be available anytime from the first broadcast online.
Epilepsy Action works to improve the lives of the 600,000 people living with epilepsy in the UK.
