This week’s Picture of the Week was taken by Laurie Prowse, of St James’s Road, Ilkley. Mr Prowse said: “This photograph was taken from the moor road between Ilkley and Burley Woodhead looking down towards Otley.”
It is among the entries in our ‘Winter Scenes’ photographic competition to win a Panasonic Lumix DMC TZ40 camera and a canvas print. There are two cameras on offer – one for over 18s and one for the winner of the 18 and under category. Organisers of the competition, the Rotary Club of Ilkley, are particularly keen to encourage entries from people 18 and under. A selection of some of the best pictures will be published next week. The closing date has been extended to Thursday, March 13. Send your entries to George Hinton (details below).
