A new Ilkley charity shop is going from strength to strength due to the support of the local community.
The shop, at 21 Brook Street, which raises money for Martin House Children’s Hospice, opened in September last year and is now thanking everyone who has called in with items to sell, all those who have called in to shop and the people who have generously given up their time to volunteer.
The shop now urgently needs more good-quality clothes, bags, toys, shoes and other items. All money raised helps the hospice in Boston Spa, near Wetherby, to support over 350 children and young people with a life-limiting illness across Yorkshire.
People who would like to volunteer to work in the shop would also be welcome.
The shop is open seven days a week and the manager would be very pleased to chat to anyone who might be interested.
