A Dutch fugitive wanted over allegations of supplying drugs across Europe is to be deported after he was arrested at Leeds-Bradford Airport.
Muhammad Hasnain Sultan, 26, was arrested trying to board a plane last Thursday evening. He was detained by local Special Branch officers at the airport and appeared before City of Westminster magistrates on Wednesday where he was remanded in custody.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said: “Sultan was wanted by the Dutch authorities and was subject to a European arrest warrant. Proceedings will begin to return him.”
