Volunteers in Addingham are to look at ways of marking the 100th anniversary of the outbreak of the First World War.
Addingham Civic Society says it has started to think about how it might commemorate the centenary and plans to set up a small group of volunteers to start the planning process.
Addingham Parish Council and the local branch of the Royal British Legion will be involved in the discussions.
Any villagers who would like to help should contact the Civic Society by e-mail at info@addinghamcivicsociety.co.uk.
