Ilkley Parish Council’s clerk has announced his resignation after two years in the role.
Alan Draper is leaving the council for a new job. The council is preparing to start the recruitment process to find a replacement. Councillors have been asked to volunteer to work in the parish office at Ilkley Town Hall, assisting deputy clerk, Fiona Birdsall. The parish council says it may be necessary to close the office for a day or two on occasion and, if so, details will be given on the council’s website, parishcouncil.ilkley.org.
Normal office opening hours are 10am to 1pm Monday to Friday.
