A collection in Booths Supermarket, Ilkley, on Saturday morning raised over £500 for Martin House Children’s Hospice. The Ilkley Friends would like to thank Booths Supermarket, those who collected on their behalf and for the generosity of the public in helping to achieve this excellent result. The Friends would also like to thank Silsden Town Band, who have supported them throughout the past year and who played a selection of festive music during the collection.
The collection marks the end of a successful year of fund raising by the Friends, who would like to thank the local businesses and individuals who have contributed. The money raised will make a significant difference to the children with life limiting illnesses and their families who are supported by the Hospice.
