Schoolchildren sang at a joint carol service held in Ilkley town centre by Ilkley Parish Council and Churches Together in Ilkley (CTI).
The carol service was held at the Ilkley Bandstand, on The Grove, on Saturday afternoon.
Children from Ilkley’s Westville House School, Ashlands Primary School and Ghyll Royd School, Burley-in-Wharfedale, sang at the service, and Wharfedale Brass Band played.
The Lord Mayor of Bradford addressed the congregation and there were readings by the chairman of Ilkley Parish Council and the CTI moderator.
Father Philip Gray, of St Margaret’s Church in Ilkley, gave a blessing.
