Bonfire Night went off with a bang as crowds helped the Friends of Ashlands Primary School raise more than £2,000.
The Friends held their usual bonfire and fireworks display off Leeds Road on November 5, and would like to thank all those who joined them and supported the event. Visitors enjoyed a bar, barbecue and sweet treats, as well as watching hundreds of pounds of fireworks.
The bonfire was lit by Sonny and Amelia Gibbons (left) who won the chance to light the bonfire in an auction at the school in June.
