Seminars will look at ways to grow Ilkley businesses
6:00pm Thursday 12th September 2013 in News
Ilkley businesses can benefit from free legal advice about how to protect and grow a business at a series of seminars hosted by Ilkley-based law firm Last Cawthra Feather (LCF), as part of Leeds Business Week which runs from September 23-27.
‘The Business – This Time, it’s Personal’ seminar will be run by head of Family Law Rachel Spencer Robb. she said: “It’s very easy for business owners to be outwardly focused on the business itself - getting it established and making it a success. However, little consideration is often given to the business owner or what might happen if events in their personal life occur that could have an immediate or drastic impact on the business itself.
“Death, divorce, madness – it’s never too late to be prepared – and we will be providing advice on the simple steps that can be taken at any stage to ensure a business does not suffer in the event that the owner does.”
A second seminar aimed at businesses that want to grow through franchising will also be hosted by LCF and Next Level Business Solutions Ltd.
Places are still available for the 45 minute sessions which will take place on September 25 at 10am for the franchising seminar and 4pm for the business – it’s personal seminar. The seminars will take place at the Carriageworks, 3 Millennium Square, Leeds and reservations can be made via leedsbizweek.com or by contacting LCF directly on (01274) 848 800.
