Otley cycle business ready to open new ‘flagship’ store in Skipton

An Otley based business is to open a flagship store in Skipton.
Chevin Cycles Limited will open the Trek Partnership store in the new Albion Place development on High Street in the town.
It will have more than 3,000 square feet of bikes, clothing and accessories over two floors. And there will be a dedicated state-of-the-art bike fitting suite and a fully equipped workshop .
Sanjai Bhatia, director of Otley-based Chevin Cycles, said: “Yorkshire has become the Mecca for cycling in the UK. We are committed to providing the very best buying experience and after sales service.”
The store, currently being built by Eric Wright Construction, forms part of a larger £8.5 million scheme being undertaken by developer Maple Grove Developments, which is transforming Skipton’s town centre. All retailers are expected to be open prior to Easter 2014.
Others signed up include Next, Cotswold Outdoors, Dawsons Department Stores and Pizza Express.
