Schoolgirl fundraiser Bethany Hare has been shortlisted for another national award.
Bethany, 13, who has raised £35,000 for sick children, already has a number of awards to her name, including The British Red Cross Humanitarian Citizen of the Year 2011 and The Princess Diana Award for Fundraising 2012.
Now she has been shortlisted for the Institute of Fundraising Child Fundraiser of the Year 2013 award, after being nominated by children’s hospice Martin House.
Bethany has raised £28,000 for Martin House and has also set up her own charity, the Bethany Hare Smile Foundation, which raises money for sick and terminally-ill children.
The Horsforth schoolgirl has now been invited to the awards ceremony in London on July 1.
Her proud mum Yvonne said: “Bethany is absolutely delighted and excited about this news.”
