An acclaimed Welsh choir will perform at a fundraising show in Yeadon this weekend.
The Froncysyllte Male Voice Choir, better known as The Fron, will sing at Yeadon Town Hall from 7.30pm on Saturday, April 6.
The group, which has enjoyed considerable success in national and international competitions and produced a best-selling album, last performed in the town in 2011.
Choir liaison officer Paul Wycherley said: “The boys are so looking forward to returning to Yeadon. We had a fabulous welcome last time by people who clearly understand and love choral singing. We are looking forward to seeing everyone again.”
Accompanying the choir once more will be Alexandra Lowe, whose performance last time earned her a standing ovation.
The concert is being presented by Yeadon Charities Association, which has raised money for local good causes for many years.
President Peter Long said: “The Fron, along with guest soprano Alaxandra Lowe, are all set to give a memorable show and it would be fantastic to see a full house this Saturday.
“The concert is one of various events we organise to raise funds to help the elderly and less fortunate people of Yeadon.”
Tickets, £15, are available from (0113) 2502164.
