Yorkshire Flower Club chairman Sandra Harder welcomed the “Fab Four” to the Great Yorkshire Showground in prep-aration for a special floral tribute at a prestigious show this month.

Mrs Harder, who lives in the Ilkley area, met up with Beatles tribute band The Upbeat Beatles as the Harrogate Spring Flower Show prepares to celebrate Beatlemania this month.

Flower arrangers from the Yorkshire Flower Club have chosen to mark the 50th anniversary of The Beatles first album release in March 1963, by creating a major display featuring dozens of designs dedicated to John, Paul, George and Ringo and their most famous hits.

The flower show will take place from April 25 to 28.
