Spring fair fundraiser for Wheatfields Hospice

An Easter egg hunt, pony rides and stalls selling local produce will be among the attractions at a hospice fundraiser.

Sue Ryder Wheatfields Hospice is holding a spring fair to boost its funds. The event will run from 11am to 2pm in the grounds of the hospice on Grove Road, Headingley, on Saturday, March 15.

The hospice says visitors will be able to pick up bargains and perhaps a new wardrobe in its usual sales areas, which are normally open from 1pm to 3pm on Tuesdays and 10am to noon on Fridays. For one week only, the book cabin, bric-a-brac corner, clothing garage and furniture shed will open on a Saturday for the fair. A selection of local artists and crafters will also be selling gifts, including jewellery.
