Ilkley spring concert brings Bach and Schubert

Cantores Olicanae’s Spring Concert will be held in St Margaret’s Church, Ilkley, on Saturday, March 16. The concert, starting at 7pm, promises to be an uplifting and enjoyable evening. The choir will perform JS Bach’s Magnificat and Schubert’s Mass in G. It will be joined by The Yorkshire Chamber Ensemble, who will be performing Bach’s Concerto for Violin and Oboe in C Minor. The concert will be conducted by Jonathan Brigg. Tickets are available from The Grove Bookshop, telephone (01943) 817301 or call (01943) 878426. Prices are £12, £10 concessions and £5 for students. Under-14s are free.
