TOWNSWOMEN’S GUILD: The guild promotes the interests of women and raises money for charities. It also has a variety of interest groups. Members meet on the first Thursday of each month at 7.30pm in the lecture room at Otley Methodist Church. The next meeting is tonight when the speaker will talk about The Elizabeth Svenson Trust. BRIDGE CLUB: On Monday, January 28, six tables played 24 boards. N/S 1st Mr Spencer and Mr Welham, 2nd equal Mr Beer and Mr Middleton and Mr Lewis and Mrs Moss; E/W 1st Mrs Garside and Mrs Young, 2nd Mrs Bradley and Mrs Harfield.
