Otley ska night is raising money for charity for seventh year

First published in News

Local businesses are being invited to support a fundraising night of ska, reggae and Northern Soul music in Otley.

The event, held at the Yew Tree Inn each spring, is now in its seventh year and has raised thousands of pounds for a variety of good causes.

This year’s ska evening will take place from 7.30pm on Saturday, April 27, and will benefit Wheatfields Hospice.

DJ and organiser Richard Spencer said: “Tickets are available now, either from the Yew Tree or myself, and cost £5.

“I’d like to say a big thank-you to Donald Pickles & Son, for sponsoring the tickets and posters, and if any other local businesses would like to donate a raffle prize that would be most welcome.”

Richard can be contacted on 07956 682107.
