Still chance to have a say on the future of school and college transport

Parents and carers in the Ilkley area still have the chance to help shape a Bradford district policy covering travel between home, school and college.
The consultation gives people until January 25 to have their say. Bradford Council is asking people for their views about changes which, if implemented, would come into effect for children who start school, sixth form or college in September 2014.
Changes are being proposed due to changing circumstances within the district.
One is the projected rise in the numbers of pupils in mainstream education in the district.
The consultation is available on the Council’s website and provides information on the current provision, the proposed changes and answers to frequently asked questions about the proposals.
