The proof was in the pudding as crowds flocked to Bolton Abbey’s annual Mince Pie Bazaar. It raised a record amount of £3,000, which will be divided between the 21 charities which took part.
A host of stalls decked out with Christmas gifts, wrapped parcels and festive food proved popular, and from noon the hall remained full until the event finished. Organisers would like to thank stallholders and everyone who helped. It will run again next year but under the new name The Christmas Charity Bazaar.
