Deserving families are being offered the chance to enjoy a festive flight in a scheme organised by Ryanair and Leeds Bradford Airport.
Twenty families will be treated to a day of fun-filled activities and an extra special visit from Santa on Saturday, December 1.
The children will be greeted at the airport by Aladdin, Cinderella, Widow Twanky, fairies and an array of Santa’s little helpers.
They will then join in the party fun while having a festive treat before searching for Father Christmas high in the skies above Yorkshire. Tony Hallwood, Commercial Director of Leeds Bradford Airport, said: “We are pleased that Ryanair have chosen Leeds Bradford to host this festive flight. “We want to ensure that families in the region who may have been touched by illness or have had a difficult year can have some precious quality time.”
Maria Macken of Ryanair said: “We are delighted to be able to offer families who have had such a hard time this year a day to remember.
“We hope the children will really get into the party spirit and come dressed as princesses, superheroes and fairies.” The families who will fly have now been chosen.
