Horsforth farmers’ market is regular feature
5:08pm Friday 2nd November 2012 in News
A farmers’ market will become a regular monthly feature of Horsforth life after the success of an event last month.
A market was held as part of two weeks of Hope in Horsforth events organised by local churches.
Now, after its success, organisers have announced the launch of a regular monthly farmers’ market.
The first will be held from 9am to 12.30pm on Saturday at St Margaret’s Primary School Car park at the top of Town Street.
The monthly market will take place on the first Saturday of each month (excluding January), and organisers say they hope it will be a community-building event.
About 2,000 people took part in the Hope in Horsforth events. Residents were invited to consider their hopes and dreams with a series of activities hosted by Horsforth Churches Together.
