Ilkley Women's Forum to share ideas
12:02pm Friday 2nd November 2012 in News
A coaching consultant is setting up a new forum giving professional women a chance to meet up and share their experiences.
Ilkley Business Forum chairman, Vera Woodhead, already runs specialist life coaching sessions for women as part of her own business, Edimo Coaching Consultancy.
Now she hopes to bring them together at her Aspir-ing Women’s Forum, focus-ing on professional life and business from a female perspective.
Many self-employed women working from home may not get the chance to mix with fellow female professionals, share experiences and knowledge, learn useful information and make contacts.
Mrs Woodhead is also keen to identify and promote female role models.
“It’s really important role models are out there and they’re visible,” she said.
The first meeting will take place at Audley Clevedon retirement village in Ben Rhydding, from noon to 2pm on November 29.
Contact Vera on (07990) 731840 to register.
