A good Samaritan is trying to reunite lost charity money with its rightful owner.
Cash was discovered outside Marks & Spencer at Guiseley by a Wharfedale Observer reader.
The man, who has asked not to be named, found a plastic envelope containing £25 on October 15. It also contains a note which says ‘sponsor money’ and includes a list of names.
He said: “This is sponsorship money that should go to charity. Whoever has lost this could be devastated.
“I am hoping some-one will ring me and claim the money, but if it is not claimed, I am going to give it to a charity anyway.”
The Good Samaritan can be contacted on 07790 013923.
