ADDINGHAM bypass was closed for more than two hours during last night's rush-hour after a pedestrian was hurt in an accident.
Police closed the A65 after a silver Peugeot car was involved in a collision with a man on the bypass at around 5.20pm.
Two vehicles collided shortly after the first incident. Police say no one was injured in this collision.
Traffic was diverted through Addingham itself while the road was closed.
Yorkshire Ambulance Service said the accident happened close to the roundabout with Silsden Road.
The pedestrian suffered only superficial injuries and was taken to Airedale General Hospital.
