Pirates, Harry Potter look-a-likes and Power Rangers were just some of the characters who turned up to Burley Oaks Primary School last week to take part in the World Book Day celebrations.
Pupils from the entire school dressed up for the event and were each given book tokens for their efforts.
Head teacher Roy Pallas said: "The day was just for fun to give something back to the children who have all worked so hard at fundraising in the past.
It was wonderful to see them all dressed up and we had almost 100 per cent of pupils involved."
