Literary heroes get together at Tranmere Park
David and Goliath joined forces with Harry Potter and Dr Who to make World Book Day a success at Tranmere Park Primary School in Guiseley.
Biblical characters, including Mary, put in a rare appearance at the event, vying for attention with the likes of Angelina Ballerina and Spiderman.
Teachers, too, turned up fully kitted out, dressed as characters from Alice in Wonderland and Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
