A hundred local children – with an age range of four to 18 – are preparing to light up the stage in Ilkley! The sparkling annual show will take place at the King’s Hall in Ilkley on July 6 and 7 at 7pm. Performance Drama School director Sue Hughes said: “The energy and commitment of the children has been outstanding this year, and we are looking forward to entertaining the public with a colourful and varied show!” The children, along with Connie the dog, will be performing excerpts from much-loved musicals, including The Wizard of Oz, Oliver, We Will Rock You and Bugsy Malone, as well as comical drama pieces. This really is a show that will appeal to all ages! Tickets can be ordered from the Performance box office. There are special £5 seats available for both performances for groups such as Brownies, Cubs or schools, and also for friends of the cast.
