The celebrated Black Dyke Band will play a celebrator concert on Thursday, October 27 to mark the tenth anniversary of the Ilkley Bandstand.
Under conductor Nicholas Childs, the band will perform a special programme of music at the Kings Hall. Over the past decade, the bandstand and its surrounding gardens has become a focal point for the community on The Grove, playing host to charitable and community gatherings, as well as live music.
The 2011 has been declared another success by the committee which oversees the bandstand.
