AN AFTERNOON of American style wrestling will be staged in Guiseley this month.

The World Wide Wrestling League is bringing the event to Aireborough Leisure Centre on Saturday, September 22.

The W3L Wrestling Showdown will feature international heavyweight and former impact wrestling star Bram.

The Guiseley matches will be recorded for the league’s weekly web series, which features contests from around the country.

Organisers say Wrestling Showdown can be viewed free of

charge every week from W3LNetwork.com.

Promoter Mike Musgrave said: “Ever popular with kids and families, we will be bringing a line up to be excited about.

“We are a UK wrestling promotion that for 15 years has worked hard to put on top quality events around the country featuring the very best international wrestlers.”

He added: “The World Wide Wrestling League is a touring group that presents American Style Wrestling events across the UK. American Wrestling is extremely popular with families and Children. The World Wide Wrestling League hosts some of the biggest names in wrestling from the U.K and abroad.”

Doors for the Guiseley event will open at 2.30pm with the bell at 3pm.

Tickets range from £15 to £11 for concessions, or £40 for a family of four. They are available from www.W3Lwrestling.com
