FRESH from a sell-out performance alongside Jools Holland earlier this year and described as “amazing” by Jamie Cullum, the new king of Boogie Woogie, Tom Seals, has just been confirmed as Skipton’s Alexander’s Bar and Kitchen new resident piano vocalist for their forthcoming season of monthly Gin & Jazz nights.

Although just 24 years old, Tom has already worked alongside some of biggest names in the business, such as Gregory Porter and Tony Christie, as well as launching his debut EP, ‘Where I’m At (Live)’, in 2017, which quickly soared to the Number 1 spot in UK Blues Chart.

Owner of Alexander’s, Susannah Daley said: “Securing Tom Seals for our monthly Gin & Jazz nights has been an absolute coup. Tom is a musical powerhouse on the piano with a superb voice which has won the most fabulous plaudits from the likes of Jennifer Hudson and Sir Tom Jones. It won’t be long before he is a household name, so I urge anyone who loves Jazz piano to catch Tom live at Alexander’s.”

Tom’s Gin & Jazz nights take place the first Tuesday of each month from September 4. The stylish European Bar and Kitchen has more than 50 varieties of gin available along with an extensive range of gin cocktails, which includes signature cocktail, Gin Garden, comprising Alexander’s own herb infused gin served over smoking dry ice with rose liqueur, floral syrups and a rosemary garnish.
