HERE at Ilkley Cinema, we made a quintessential list of things that make up Easter and thought of the best ways to celebrate the joyful season. And while we couldn’t quite book in the Easter Bunny itself, for the fluffy, chocolate delivering hero is rather busy this time of year, we feel like we’ve got the next best thing: Peter Rabbit. Who knows, they could be distant relatives!

The mischievous little cotton tail from Beatrix Potter’s beloved children’s tales is brought to life in a brand-new adventure on the big screen. The eponymous Peter, his sisters Flopsy, Mopsy and Cotton Tail and his cousin Benjamin Bunny live a carefree life, spending their days causing mayhem in Mr. McGregor’s garden. But when he dies, the bunnies can’t believe their luck and roam free amongst the vegetable patch. That is, until one of his relatives inherits his house and won’t stand for these little terrors running riot anymore. Who will reign victorious, let’s find out!

If you haven’t quite found your feet just yet, then never fear, for we have another week of the hilarious and touching comedy drama Finding Your Feet on our screen.

Finally, we invite you to witness the rise of a legend. The original videogame heroine Lara Croft is reborn once more in action adventure Tomb Raider. In this reimagined origin story, Alicia Vikander takes the lead as Croft, the daughter of an eccentric adventurer who vanished mysteriously years before. Living a normal life in London, Croft’s life is turned upside-down when she embarks upon a perilous journey to solve her father’s disappearance.

Croft leaves everything she knows behind in search of her dad’s last-known destination: a fabled tomb on a mythical island that might be somewhere off the coast of Japan. But as she is marooned on an island and journeys into the unknown, she must use her sharp mind, blind faith and inherently stubborn spirit in order to survive.
