GUISELEY Amateur Operatic Society (GAOS) have staged at least one show every year since their formation.

But their first show of 2018 will undoubtedly prove to be their most talked about in their illustrious 95 year

history.

For the first time ever on the Guiseley Theatre stage, six members of the GAOS cast will be Letting It Go as The

Full Monty comes to town.

GAOS is proud to have assembled another superb and experienced cast for the production and welcome back David Kirk as Director, Cathy Sweet as Musical Director and Ted Oxley-Kirk as Choreographer.

The story is six unemployed steelworkers in Buffalo, New York are miserable. They have no cash and no prospects.

Meanwhile, they catch their wives and other women going crazy over male strippers. The six men then set out to make some quick cash showing off their "real man" bodies by becoming a team of male strippers. As the guys work through their fears, self-consciousness and anxieties they find strength as a group and overcome their inner demons.

And we all know what happens at the end.

The show runs from February 26 through to March 3 at 7:30pm each night - so who are the brave GAOS six baring all?

The cast is Lee Cannon (Malcolm MacGregor); Joel George (Noah “Horse” T. Simmons); Adam Gregory (Dave Bukatinsky); Will Sadler (Ethan Girard); Darren Smith (Jerry Lubowski) and Colin Waterman (Harold Nichols).

Not only have the GAOS six agreed to go the Full Monty on stage, they also star in the 2018 calendar. GAOS has put this together to raise money for Prostate Cancer UK, GAOS’ designated charity for show week. The calendars are £10 and all proceeds will go to charity.
