A SECOND pop-up dining experience will be held at Harewood in December.

Hidden Harewood-Winter in the Woods will take diners on an immersive journey through the estate.

Chef and past contestant on MasterChef: The Professionals 2016, Josh Whitehead, will be returning to the event with an innovative tasting menu.

The Harewood Food and Drink Project, which is totally independent from the house itself, celebrates the best of the estate’s food and drink production, and gives diners the chance to discover the hidden corners of the Harewood grounds. The winter event follows on from the success of an event in September.

A spokesman said: "The evening will have a touch of Christmas magic, a few surprises along the way and a menu which showcases the best of Yorkshire, inspired by Harewood’s heritage and the seasonal produce grown on site."

The journey through the grounds will last between two and a half to three hours, with two sittings each night for groups of up to 30 people. Tickets are available to buy online for 6.45pm and 8.30pm December 7 and 8, then 6pm and 8pm on December 9 and 10.

The Harewood Food and Drink Project has launched two new additions to their seasonal range of Harewood beer using goods grown and foraged on the estate and in collaboration with local producers. Visit https://harewood.tocktix.com to buy tickets, which cost £75.
