JUPLICITY is the title of the latest show by Phill Jupitus coming to Ilkley.
The stand-up comedian, poet, improviser and TV stalwart will perform at the King’s Hall on November 6.
A King’s Hall spokesman said: “During this evening of top-class comedy, experienced funnyman Jupitus will drag laughs out of the chaos of his own life and the uncertain world that surrounds it.”
Phill became a familiar face when he started as team captain on BBC2’s pop quiz Never Mind The Buzzcocks in 1996, which went on to run for 19 years.
He regularly appears on TV and BBC Radio 4 comedy shows and documentaries, and in the theatre has played Bottom in the Bath Theatre Royal production of A Midsummer’s Night Dream.
He appeared alongside Jason Manford in the UK touring production of musical The Producers.
The show, suitable for over-14s, is said to contain adult themes and situations, delivered childishly.
