ANTON, Erin and Evita are returning to Bradford– and they’re bringing along the son of a preacher man!

They will appear in three shows recently announced for next spring at the Alhambra Theatre.

Anton & Erin: Broadway To Hollywood, to be performed on March 14, is the latest show to feature the ballroom dancing couple from TV show Strictly Come Dancing.

Anton du Beke and Erin Boag will celebrate the golden age of Hollywood, accompanied by the Manchester Concert Orchestra and six world-class ensemble dancers.

As ever, the latest show promises dazzling choreography, sparkling costumes, and sensational timeless music such as Cry Me a River, Downtown and New York, New York.

Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice’s dramatic musical Evita will be at the Alhambra from April 24 to 28.

Bill Kenwright’s production is back on the road following a hit run at London’s Dominion Theatre.

The show tells story of Eva Peron, wife of former Argentine dictator Juan Peron, following her journey from humble beginnings through to extraordinary wealth, power and iconic status.

She was ultimately be heralded as the ‘spiritual leader of the nation’ by the Argentine people.

The songs are among the most iconic in musical theatre, including Don’t Cry For Me Argentina, On This Night of a Thousand Stars, You Must Love Me, and Another Suitcase in Another Hall.

Son of a Preacher Man, to be performed from June 12 to 16, is a new musical featuring the songs of Dusty Springfield including The Look Of Love and I Only Want To Be With You.

The show is described as sparklingly funny and sweetly touching, and it is directed and choreographed by Strictly Come Dancing’s Craig Revel Horwood.
