COUNT Arthur Strong will bring his comedy show The Sound of Mucus to Ilkley and Halifax this month.

The stand-up comedy pensioner can be seen at King’s Hall on May 17 and at the Victoria Theatre on May 20.

He is returning to Ilkley due to popular demand, fresh from donkey’s years on his award-winning BBC Radio 4 series successful TV show.

Using stories and other things that are secret, showbiz legend Arthur pays tribute to one of the best musicals he can remember.

He uniquely recreates the salient and poignant moments for the audiences enjoyment, along with “something else”.

Count Arthur Strong will be supported on stage by Terry Kilkelly as Malcom de Tinsell, from Count Arthur Strong’s Radio Show!, and Dave Plimmer, who features with him on BBC1, as Allan Leslie.

Arthur said: “If you only buy one ticket for something this year buy a ticket for this one twice and bring a friend. I promise you, you won’t regret it. And if you do there must be something wrong with you. No refunds.”

The show is suitable for ages 14-plus.
