LET’S Sing Together is a friendly and welcoming community group for anyone with memory problems.
The group meets on the first Tuesday of each month at the Clarke Foley Centre in Ilkley, from 1.30pm to 3.30pm. No experience of singing is necessary; the aim is just to have fun together, sharing memories, singing well-known songs and enjoying making new friends over cake and coffee.
The group is run by Janet Austin, a retired mental health nurse with over 35 years’ experience working with people with dementia and Jan Millard, a retired teacher who has over 20 years’ experience of teaching music and leading choirs.
Janet said: "If you, or a friend or loved one, experience problems with memory loss, then why not come along and give it a try? Carers, friends or family members would be most welcome! Our next session is on Tuesday, July 7 at 1.30pm. We look forward to seeing you!"

Let’s Sing Together is kindly sponsored by Ladies In Waiting, a Care Agency based in Ilkley and it is free to join.
