FISH and chips will be served up with a splash of drama when a play by a Coronation Street actress is performed in Guiseley.
One of Each has been written by Deborah McAndrew, best known for her role as Angie Freeman in the popular soap, but who is also an award-winning playwright. The work is a tale of storms at sea, saucy secrets and sibling rivalry. It centres around two rival fish and chip establishments owned by siblings who are battling it out for the coveted title of Golden Fish Fork.
It will be performed by the Mikron Theatre Company in the apt setting of The Wetherby Whaler, at 7.30pm on Wednesday, May 6.
The Mikron tours with a cast of four actors and throughout its 44 years has performed in front of more than 312,000 people.
The company tours the country on a narrowboat in the summer and by road in the autumn, performing at a whole host of quirky venues, including allotments, dry docks and pubs.
